Order Description Why change course during the post-war era of American history and ratchet up funds for military contracts and allocate a more significant number of resources to target increased military research and development? Was it because the formula for funding military defense changed during World War II or was America transitioning into a permanent war economy? Is the additional defense spending worth an increase in the deficit or is there another way to enact diplomacy?
