Order Description
1. Explain Rawls' argument that there is a moral obligation to obey the law.
2. Then, explain Smith's objection to Rawls.
3. Argue in favor of Rawls' theory/argument.
4. From the perspective of the theory you have defended in part 3, discuss under what circumstances--if any--it is morally permissible to be civilly disobedient.
