National sales tax

    The following question needs to be answered for my discussions: The tax code is extremely difficult for some to understand, thus the need for accountants. In recent years the idea of a national sales tax has come to the forefront of tax discussions. How would a national sales tax affect the accounting industry, and in particular the tax industry? The discussion must be at least 250 words in length aND must support their assertions with at least 2 scholarly citations in APA format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. Acceptable sources include professional and scholarly articles, textbooks, and the Bible.
