National Security studies design for using probability methods to detect deception. remember the situation: there is a secret cell in the class and you are trying to identify who is in that cell. try to think about the core idea in FCT: a deceptive person is motivated to AVOID something on a test if it threatens their secret. so you have to think about what you would ask or put on a test that a deceptive person would know for certain but an innocent person (i.e. a person not in the cell) would not know. keep in mind how to test the strength of the FCT you design.
