New practice manager for an Oncology practice.

You have just been hired as the new practice manager for an Oncology practice. You have been asked to determine the best way to manage patient data for clinical and administrative purposes. You will need to adopt a practice management electronic health record (EHR) system. Before doing so, you will need to consider the needs of all stakeholders that will use the new system:
• the practice manager,
• the billers/coders,
• the clinical support staff (the LPNs),
• the patient.
In Week 1 discussion, you have selected two stakeholders and appraise the needs for electronic data collection/use for key stakeholders. In Week 2, you will consider the same two stakeholders (Practice Managers & Clinicians) and respond to the following questions in your original post:
• What clinical data will you collect?
• What administrative data will you collect?
• What documentation will be required in the patient’s record?
• Describe the needs of the internal and external stakeholders.
