North Korea
North Korea
Order Description
North Korea repeatedly tests missile launch over Japan.
President Trump aggressively reacted.
So main “Characters”in this paper will be the US, Japan, North Korea.Clear THESIS & CONCLUSION are required.Being creative and cohesive is most important.I put the
political Science as a subject area, but it’s actually, “Peace and Conflict Studies”
So, not use too much “Political” resources. And, please send me the essay as a editable word file, not PDF.Below is more detailed information. How to develop the final
project
First Step: identifying the country and/or the issue? There are two possible ways to develop this assignment:
a. Identify the country (or area) you would like to research?b. Identify the issue you want to write about and then select a country to focus on
This is probably the most challenging phase of the assignment.
To get some ideas, you can look at the following web sites:
* - www.un.org (search under the section “Issues on the UN Agenda” ?https://www.un.org/issues/) ?
* - International Crisis Group (they have different issues and different ?countries). Look also in their advocacy campaign section ?
* - www.reliefweb.int (they have a very good section about emergencies around ?the world) ?
* - Human Rights Watch /Amnesty International if you are very keen on Human ?Rights ?
* - Other news sites (The Economist, The New York Times, etc.)
* Second step: identifying the actors involved with and/or focusing on this issue These can be official or unofficial (non-state) actors, or a combination of the two.
Ask yourself the following: ?
* - What are these actors doing in this country? ?
* - Who is responsible for this situation? Who are the perpetrators? Who are the ?victims? ?
* - If you are looking at proposed solutions rather than causes, then who is ?trying to provide solutions? How would you analyze and evaluate their efforts? ?Third
Step: choosing your sources? For this assignment you need the following:?** Four sources carefully chosen from the course readings?** Four outside sources of your own
choosing (make them well-chosen sources) You can use more than four, but not fewer. ?Fourth step: develop your own analysis?Once you know a bit more about the issue in
that specific country and you are more familiar with what is already being done on this, develop your own analysis. What you do not want to do is merely describe the
topic or write a report merely presenting the facts of the situation. Instead, you want to analyze things from your own perspective with the help of your chosen
sources. ?What you do NOT want to do
Remember that this is an analytical paper so the key element is how you are interpreting, assessing and analyzing your topic (in simpler terms, you need to think).
What you do not want to do is (1) write a descriptive report, or (2) write a policy proposal. For example, if you wanted to write about food insecurity in Sierra
Leone, it would be quite fine to offer an analysis of why there have been so many problems with the design and implementation of food distribution networks, but it
would be unacceptable to write a paper proposing a new policy package that you think should be implemented instead. Your grade for this assignment will be based
primarily on:
* Comprehensive analysis of the issue in the country/region/topic you have chosen. ?
* Clarity of your argument: make sure you state your argument from the very beginning of your paper (why have you chosen this issue? Why is this issue relevant for
this country?) ?
* Comprehensive use of course resources and topics: remember that this assignment also counts as the final exam for the course so you will need to creatively utilize
material from the course and incorporate it seamlessly into your paper ?.
