Write a 2-3 page essay about the novel and try to connect it to the historical context out of which it emerged as well as the historical context of the period in which it was produced. (if they are different) so, if a book was written in 1986 about a time in 1966 look at both aspects but focus largely on the time the book is about. the point is to express the way that fiction can represent history.
