Perspectives of Professionalism

  A profession is often defined as work that requires special skill, knowledge, and ability in a specific area. A professional, then, is one who possesses the special skills, knowledge, and ability to perform within the profession (that's you!). For your initial post, describe how you view professionalism as it relates to the early childhood education field. What specialized skills or knowledge do you have? How do you think others view the professionalism of the field? Offer one example of what you can do to promote professionalism in the field.
