You are the chief foreign policy adviser to the Israeli Prime Minister. You are tasked with preparing the Prime
Minister for a visit to one of the countries that we have discussed this semester. Choose one country- China,
Japan, Korea (specify it clearly in the title of your essay).
Write a policy memo, no longer than three pages (1.5 space), outlining the most important recent
developments in the relations between the country you chose and another country that we have studied (e.g.
China-India, Japan-China, etc.).
You should draw upon the course readings and your lecture notes, but you may also use newspaper articles,
books, and whatever relevant, credible English-language sources you see fit (not Wikipedia). Make sure you
specify your sources through clear references and bibliography (the bibliography is not counted in the 3 pages
of the essay). You may use any referencing system you see fit, but be consistent
