Pop Culture and Social Change.

Take any social movement or idea, and illustrate how pop culture has influenced its progress (for better or for worse), and continues to do so. I wanted to write about gun control as my title. My teacher had two rules for this essay and they are that the topic must be large in scale, meaning it affects a sizable portion of the population for a number of years and the paper cannot advocate in favor of discrimination. The thesis must be original and specific argument on how pop culture affected the movement. The first body paragraph should define what type of social movement we’re dealing with here. He also said my opinion on the social movement can be part of the essay as long it doesn’t include discrimination.
