Short primary readings are available in the Delanty and Strydom text. You will be asked to read the text that you have selected and to write a brief (100 words) commentary concerning how the text connects with/illuminates the perspective we are studying, particular arguments or concepts that are representative of that perspective, etc.
They resources intended to help provide a “bridge” between the secondary texts we have read and the primary scholars associated with the perspective. Time will be set aside at the beginning of each class meeting during the Application week for students to report and discuss the primary text they read and the connections they found.
