Professional Development Program Order Description As Instructional leader (administrator) of your school, teachers and students’ needs, and taking into consideration change theories and national standards for professional learning, engage your faculty in designing a professional development program to address the identified area/s of concern. (ELCC 1.3, 2.3) Include the design of the professional development program. The design should identify the action plan in developing professional learning within the school: how will you get “buy in” from the teachers; how will teachers meet – how often; how will you monitor and support the professional learning? What are some obstacles that could arise and how will you address them? Make sure that the assignment also includes links to sites where teachers can find technology tools for instruction and assessment of the topics identified as area/s of concern.
