Instructions: This is your report on your project activities only. Project journal reports are due Weeks 2, 4, and 6. You will post all journals within your
project thread. In addition, you must submit assignment for grading by copying and pasting each journal entry into the grade book. Each report is
worth 20 points. Label section headers with the three requirements listed below:
1. Describe your current project activities. Over the past two weeks, you will have spent 30 hours on your project. Reflect on all project
implementation activities, which include your project objectives for the past two weeks. What project activities have you been working on?
Are there any problems that you need to solve?
2. Discuss any surprises or frustrations related to your project.
3. Discuss how your project is affecting your professional development.
MY OBJECTIVE FOR THIS JOURNAL, THAT I AM WORKING ON IS WEEK 5-8 THANKS.
Objectives: Upon completion of NUR456 Professional Practice Project, the student will be able to complete the following objectives as evidenced by documentation in
discussion boards, clinical evaluations, feedback from preceptor, fellow students, and faculty:
Synthesize knowledge from liberal arts and sciences and nursing science to understand global perspectives, stimulate critical thinking, and use current technologies.
Create a teaching plan by week 3.
create educational power point for teens and school staff by week 7.
Make sound decisions in the use of patient information and healthcare technology to design, coordinate, manage, and evaluate nursing care for individuals, families and
populations.
Identify early teens pregnancy by week 1
Provide some key points on unprotected sex by week 3
Demonstrate clinical experience to provide caring, compassionate, and culturally appropriate patient centered care to people in a variety of settings.
Prepare a brief pamphlet on early sex by Week 2.
Record primary teen’s comments on abstinence by Week 7.
Communicate, collaborate, and negotiate effectively to improve patient healthcare outcomes.
Collaborate with the school staff by Week 1.
Organize a teaching plan for teens by Week 5.
Exhibit professional values and behaviors as outlined by a professional code of ethics, professional standards, and legal statues.
Apply the ANA Code, ethical, and nurse practice standards to determine own practice taking responsibility for own actions by week 8
Apply the professional standards of early sex for this project by Week 8.
Promote healthy lifestyles through health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention education for individuals and populations.
Discuss with school staff how they can prevent early pregnancy in teens by week 6.

Incorporate evidence-based knowledge and theory into nursing practice.
Research 2 healthcare articles per week by Weeks 6.
Demonstrate leadership and collaboration within interdisciplinary healthcare partners and professional, political, and/or regulatory organizations to support changes
