Public shaming Order Description The argument is : In some countries, the names of people who have committed crimes are made public, either by announcements or publications. Many believe this shaming reduces crime. Is public shaming is an effective way to deter crime, and what types of crimes would be most affected by this practice? My opinion ( public shaming is effective ), The essay has to be a 4 paragraphs The first paragraph is the introduction (discuss the argument first, and end with the thesis statement). The other two paragraphs are the body: each one of them has: argument then counterarguments( the objection against my argument) then rebuttal (my reply to the counterarguments)...... (EACH paragraph should have 2 positive sides that supports my argument which is public shaming is an effective way to reduce the crime. list all the arguments then list the counterargument and reply to each point. the arguments shouldn't be related, it can be opposite as you like) the last paragraph is the conclusion; restate thesis statement and show important points. NO MORE THAN 560 WORDS the resources should be ONLY from website, *CAPTURE and HIGHLIGHT the information that you took from the website.* TRANSITION WORDS IS IMPORTANT ( ideas to make it clear) - the argument could be about the positive effect of public shaming, for example , reducing the crime by making criminal afraid of doing the crime again. - the counter argument could be about the negative effect, for example, public shaming affect the criminal family "stigmatized" - the rebuttal should be replay against the counterargument, and accept at least one.
