1. Please go to the following website: http://www.nber.org/data. Pick a set of data that appeals to you , and may be used for this exercise;
2. Construct one or more hypotheses to test whether two groups have equal means, using the data set you selected. Include both the null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis;
3. Select a statistics test consistent with step #2, run the test and interpret the results;
4. Include a short description of your assumptions, if any; your choice of sample size; and the reasons for your conclusions.
