Should Queensland adopt the uniform evidence legislation? Good research starting point is the 2005 Queensland Law Reform Commission report on whether Queensland shodd adopt the miform evidence legislation. It is naturally rather dated and the QLRC sat on the fence, merely recommending more work be undertaken. In the meantime, Victoria, the ACT and the NT have all joined the uniform evidence regime, just leaving Qld , SA and WA outside the uniform evidence acts (UEAs).
