Reaction Paper
Reaction Paper
Order Description
The reaction papers are not book reports or summaries of the assigned readings/videos but rather should focus on a critical examination of sociological issues that pertain to each of these assignments. The papers should utilize course material, class discussions and assignments as a means of reflecting on what the student has learned about the topic within the context of a sociological perspective (please read the attached PPT to utilize some sociological theories). All papers should be double spaced with a maximum font size of 12 and subscribe to the APA style of citations. Prior to reading the article you should write a one paragraph statement regarding your stance on capital punishment ( for, against, or not sure) and WHY. Then read the article. After reading the article then write your paper using examples from the article to support your stance. It is ok to change your stance. So if you were against capital punishment to begin with and then changed your mind you will need to cite examples from the book and other resources (if you choose to use them) about why you changed your mind.
