Bearing this criticism in mind, read Raymond Smullyan's short story An Unfortunate Dualist 4. Respond to the following questions: 4.1 What makes the character in Smullyan's story a dualist, i.e. someone who agrees with Descartes's theory? 4.2. Would, according to Descartes's dualism, be possible to destroy one's soul by taking a drug? 4.3. Do you personally believe that such a drug is possible in principle? Is there anything in Scriptures forbidding the use of such a drug? 4.6 Would you love your partner less if you knew they took such a drug? 4.7.
