GOAL : to write about a specific event in tour life that will be engaging to readers and help them to understand the event's meaning and importance in your life. _ An autobiological story - so use first person " I " _ need beginning, middle, and end that creates intrigue. _ can contain dialogue to create interest ( optional ) _ include specific details what people, places, or objects you are writing about the like and remind you of. _ include sensory images, show readers what you saw, heard, smelled, touched, and/ or tasted in regards to the significant event you are writing about. _ constantly ask yourself while writing what is the point i am trying to make by remembering and telling this story to readers ?
