Report on judicial proceedings

    Order Description       You are required to report on each of the following: 1. The limits on publishing about a matter still before the courts; 2. The limits on publishing about a matter involving children; 3. The limits on publishing about children within the child protection system; 4. The limits on publishing about a matter subject to a coronial inquiry; 5. The limits on publishing about a matter the subject of a report by the Queensland Family and Child Commission; 6. Discussion of the matter in the Parliament of Queensland and any media releases and social media posts by the Minister, and the LNP Opposition. A case such as this involves limits on what journalists can publish or broadcast, but also limits on what elected officials (Members of Parliament), and other stakeholders involved in child protection can say publicly.
