Repurposing microphones

  investigating specifically repurposing microphones (contact mics, hydrophones, geophone, EMF, stethoscope etc) that were invented for scientific purposes or not meant for artistic expression, using them to capture field recordings, them taking the materials for field recording composition and the processing of using them in electronic music productions   And there are some pieces of music I would like to analyze how they compose and how they produce in the studio, basically to analyze musical pieces
