Scholastic Theology

This assignment provides an opportunity to understand methods of scholastic theology.
In a 1,500-2,000-word paper, analyze the style, method, and content of the “Treatise on The One God” in
Thomas Aquinas’s Summa Theologica in order to draw conclusions about scholastic theology. Assess the
influence of Aristotle on Aquinas’ thought, explain using examples the scholastic method and style, and
describe the content of the treatise.
Support your position by referencing three to five academic resources (preferably from the GCU Library) in
addition to the Bible and the textbook. Incorporate the research into your writing in an appropriate, scholarly
manner.
