Significance of Place

Write an essay that uses the writings from Chapter 2 to explore the significance of place. What importance do the writers give to place as a geographical location as well as the types of experiences- both good and bad- that we have once we are there? Other questions to consider: how does where we are from, how we get there, and what we experience here shape who we become?
