Sample Solution

The video discussed the stark economic inequality between those in the lowest quintile and those in the highest. It was estimated that just 10% of available money is present in the lowest quintile, while more than 50% of available money is held by those in the highest quintile. Those born into lower income families have much lower odds of escaping poverty than those born to wealthier households.
In order to improve these odds, there are three key social factors that can help people escape the lowest quintile: education, employment opportunities and government assistance programs. Education provides individuals with knowledge and skills needed for many jobs as well as a potentially higher wage when they graduate from college or university. Employment opportunities for low-skilled workers can be difficult to come by, but should be increased so that everyone has access to gainful employment with decent wages regardless of their socio-economic background. Finally, government assistance programs are important for providing low-income families with additional resources such as food stamps and housing vouchers which may help them move up from poverty levels into a higher socioeconomic bracket. As a society we must address structural issues such as racism and sexism which create systemic barriers for certain groups of people living in poverty who have fewer educational or employment opportunities compared to others due to discrimination over race or gender identity etc. In addition governments need to provide more funding towards social mobility initiatives such as job training programs which will teach people valuable skills they need to get ahead economically while also offering financial aid grants so that students don't have to bear the full burden of tuition costs on their own when pursuing postsecondary studies. We must also recognize how unequal access to health care exacerbates poverty due its large out-of-pocket expenses; therefore national health care system reform should include additional resources allocated towards providing affordable health services for all citizens regardless of their economic status or insurance coverage situation if any at all existent exists beyond public subsidies like Medicare/Medicaid etc.. Personally I am doing my best ensure I receive an education by studying hard each day at school and taking advantage of tutoring services offered through my school when needed so I can keep up with class material better during times where struggle academically due challenges like anxiety or procrastination tendancies sometimes...
