Sport Organization Strategy Discussion You have just been appointed Director of Athletics at a mid-major university. The university has a highly respected academic tradition, but there are some influential elements within and outside the university who would like to see the university expand its athletic prowess while maintaining its academic tradition. In the interview process it was made clear to you that all the pieces had been put in place to make this significant change for the university. Create a plan in which you incorporate the principles of effective coordination of the various segments of the university and implement processes for incentives and controls to execute your strategic plan.
