Stages within the police officer recruitment process

There are several important stages within the police officer recruitment process that are listed below:

· physical agility,

· written examination,

· background checks,

· training academy,

· field training, and

· polygraph examination.

Each stage of the recruitment process is important and provides law enforcement recruiters with vital information concerning a recruit’s qualifications. You will discuss each stage and provide the information that will be collected from that process.
