Standards Order Description   Review the CCSS and CCRR documents provided in Module 2. Think about the implications for a particular grade or grade span in which you work or hope to work. Consider the expectations for new assessments; future writing assessments are expected to call for electronic tests, valid assessment of students competence requires opportunities for practice, using digital tools as required during test taking; the leaders of Smarter Balance and PARCC will put states and school districts on a path toward successfully implementing next-generation assessments (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortia, 2012). 1). Describe how you plan to help students meet these expectations for performance using digital tools for research and writing as well as the demands for demonstrating their competence in reading and writing.
