State county health rankings and the Dartmouth Atlas Memo
States and localities across the United States vary in population characteristics, health care needs, health care supply, medical practice and health care outcomes. In this paper, you’ll be examining variation using two public use datasets, available on two different interactive websites. You need to complete two tables, and write up the findings for each table in several paragraphs. The data for the first table can be found at countyhealthrankings.org
Be sure to read about each of the indicators on the website so that you are clear about how they are measured and interpreted. You must select 2 of the following states to complete the table: Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New Mexico, New York, Texas.

Summarize your findings by describing each state in a separate paragraph, and add a third paragraph that makes comparisons across states.
