Strategic Management - Case Analysis Order Description Complete an analysis of the case provided (Amazon). Analyze 2 or more issues. Discuss 3 alternatives, then provide 3 advantages and 3 disadvantages. Justify responses. Develop a recommendations. Determine how recommendations could be implemented, then provide at least 2 difficulties that could detriment the plan. Please note that a sample format for paper is included. Traditional Case Analysis: A method of learning complex strategic management concepts- such as environmental analysis, the process of decision making, and implementing strategic actions- through placing students in the middle of an actual situation and challenging them to figure out what to do. The paper must be at least 5 to 6 pages long (not including your Title Page and Reference Page) and you must also provide a powerpoint presentation as part of your assignment. Keep information using the same format. You will not have to present the information but we will discuss your cases in class. I will use the powerpoints as part of your skills in setting up a presentation. Criteria 1: Analyze two (2) or more issues involved in the case then provide the impact the issues had on the organization's survivability. Criteria 2: Discuss alternatives as an executive of the organization by using the following strategic management sequence by (identifying three alternatives and evaluate each alternative using three advantages/three disadvantages). Justify your response. Criteria 3: Develop a recommendation based off of your analysis then support the recommendation with your rationale. Criteria 4: Determine how the selected recommendation could be implemented then provide at least two difficulties that could be detrimental to your plan.
