So, what is strategy and does strategy matter?  Discuss, making reference to the different perspectives on strategy. 2.    ‘Leadership is the ability to inspire and motivate others to work willingly towards achieving organizational goals’ 3.    Good Governance on its own cannot make a company successful. Companies need to balance conformance with performance. Discuss these two aspects of enterprise governance. 4.    Discuss the elements in the external environment of an organization, indicating the various techniques and frameworks used in this analysis. 5.    The importance of the study of corporate strategy stems from the fact that large businesses are increasingly multi-businesses and networks between businesses are becoming more common. Discuss the issues involved in a firm’s corporate level strategy decisions. 6.    “Implementing a strategy successfully depends on selecting the right organisational structure and control system to match a company’s strategy.” Analyse this statement. 7.    How should managers go about renewing their organization? Should managers strive to bring about renewal abruptly, by empowering radical, comprehensive and dramatic change?  Or should managers try to make renewal a more continuous process, accentuating ongoing improvement, learning and adaptation?
