Target Organ Toxicity you should write about chemicals that induces toxicity to specific organ. there are five organ which are ( skin- Kidney- blood- heart and Gastrointestinal tract). you have to consider these points: 1- which this organ susceptibility to toxicity 2- mechanisms of toxicity of chemicals 3- target structures 4- how we can assessment of toxicity 1000 max word for each organ, so total 5000 words I have already chosen the chemicals for each organs: skin- sulphonamides by mechanism called Phototoxicity Kidney- Mercury induces proximal tubular necrosis(Tubular toxicity) blood- Thrombocytopenia Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia heart- CNS drugs ?( Tricyclic Antidepressants): significant cardiotoxicity, particularly in overdose and includes ECG abnormalities and sudden cardiac death.
