Textual Analysis (easy)
With reference to one film or one episode of a television series of your choice, analyse a sequence of several scenes in the film or programme, paying attention to the formal aspects of cinema (mise-en-scène, cinematography, editing, sound, special effects). Discuss the contribution of these elements to the film or television narrative; you might also want to discuss if they are significant at the level of a particular style (eg of director or genre). Aim to discuss between 5 and 15 minutes of the film or television text.
