The alignement of different research components

        Can the different components of a research study be aligned, but the study still lack integrity? In other words, does the alignment of the different components guarantee that the study will be valid and reliable? Why or why not? How does one ensure that the various components of a research study are aligned, and the study is valid and reliable?
