The Bill of Rights

The Bill of Rights is designed to protect citizens from the potential of tyranny of the government. We discussed the purpose of a number of Amendments and the logic behind why the are included in limits to the government. We also discussed that the ambiguity of these amendments can be potentially problematic. At the same time the simplicity of the statements allow for a wide range of interpretations. Is it necessary that they remain ambiguous? Are the current rights comprehensive enough or should we consider a new set of Amendments/rights to add (if so, what would they be)? How can we continue to assure that these rights (or your new ones are applied equally for all?
