  Explore the different categories of drugs (opiates, stimulants, depressants, and hallucinogens/cannabinoids) and present about a drug in one of the categories. Instructions: • Choose one of the categories of drugs and select a commonly abused drug from that category. • Create a presentation, including: o Define the drug and the drug category it is in. o A brief history of the legal and illegal use of that drug in the U.S. o Where does the drug fall on the Federal Schedule of Drugs? What is its medical use (if any)? What is its potential for abuse (if any)? o How does the use of the drug affect the body? Can it cause death?
