  This paper is to be about the history of medicine throughout history (as outlined below). While there is no specific length requirement, the paper should be thorough and include: Contributions of different cultures/regions and should include time periods ranging from prehistoric times to the present including eastern medicine, Greeks/Romans, Egypt, western medicine, etc Major contributions of significant people leading to key advancements such as Galen, Fleming, Pasteur, Jennings, and others Significant advances and discoveries in medicines and treatments such as sanitation, the discovery of antibiotics and vaccines (and their impact), etc., all the way into the modern era including molecular biology and gene editing.
