    Track the social stratification of your family. Did the social standing of your parents differ from the social standing of your grandparents and great-grandparents? What specific social traits (values, skills, norms, behaviors, etc.) were you socialized to that can be traced back to your ancestors? What types of marriages exist in your family (endogamous or exogamous)? Why do you think this is the case? Does your family exhibit status consistencies or inconsistencies?
