Introduction: Give an overview / abstract of the paper to come. This is a few paragraphs summarizing what the paper is about and pointing to its conclusions.
Body: The body of the paper can be organized into several sections, each covering a topic related to Big Data Processing:
Section 1: Define Big Data
Define and explain Big Data including the five characteristics of Big Data (volume, velocity, variety, veracity, and value).
Give examples of how the 5Vs affect Big Data Processing. Discuss the challenges and solutions to handling Big Data in any compute environment and some of the “rules” that must be followed.
Section 2: Evolution of Big Data Processing Platforms
Discuss how Big Data processing has changed from the early Hadoop days to today. Discuss how the processing frameworks evolved to take advantage of changes in computer hardware.
Section 3: Future of Big Data Processing
Discuss the current trends and challenges in Big Data Processing. Predict the future of Big Data Processing (e.g., new platforms, new paradigms, new applications, and new challenges). Identify and explore at least 1 up and coming Big Data Processing framework not discussed in class. Compare and contrast it to frameworks we discussed in class.
Conclusion:
The conclusion should summarize the main findings of the paper and provide recommendations for future research and practice. It should also acknowledge the limitations of the paper and suggest directions for further investigation.
