According to Prothero, the “problem” of human life within Judaism is “exile,” and the solution therefore is to return home. Please creatively imagine and explain some ways that process might appear in persons’ lives. Have you ever felt this way? And what do you think of Judaism’s “techniques” for returning home? What do those techniques represent? Can they be broadened to be relevant to nonJews?
