Find a recent news story published online within the last month that highlights the workings of class stratification. The news story must be from a legitimate news outlet, such as a major national newspaper or broadcaster (no blogs, editorials, political organization postings).
The article or news video does not have to say the word "social class" anywhere in the article, because the point of the assignment is to explain how and why the article relates to social class using the concepts. Part of the assignment is to pick an article that will lends itself to being analyzed in terms of social class inequality. Your paper should be about 450-550 words (about 2 pages, double-spaced, be appropriately organized into paragraphs, and use proper grammar, spelling.
