Q1) In the works of Plato and Machiavelli, what is the proper and most effective relationship between the masses and their political leaders? Should the leaders fulfill the desires of the people or direct their behavior, and how and why? Do the masses actually desire power, and if so, how much, if any, can they be trusted to possess?
