ASSIGNMENT BRIEF You will design and deliver a 30 minute football specific conditioning session based on one clear component of fitness (aerobic, anaerobic or strength). You will need to produce a detailed session plan and include a risk assessment. Your plan should have a dynamic warm up, and specific details such as lifting tempo, reps, sets, You may choose to develop your session from the periodised plan produced in assignment one. The session will be delivered to an appropriate number of participants which will be agreed with the module tutor during the planning stage. 1) Training Program and Design – You must submit a session plan for this fitness session prior to delivery. Following on from Assignment 1 students are required to design a full training program. In this assignment it is expected that you chose one session from your whole program ready to deliver. Like any session plan you should include, participant information, technical content, equipment needs, facility requirements, key factors and health and safety information. Include a full risk assessment Training Session Delivery – You will act as the training professional/personal trainer for the player. You will coach them through one full session that is a small part of the whole program you designed in assignment one. Firstly it is your job to communicate to the player. What are you doing, how are you doing it and why? Begin with a warm up, and finish with a cool down with a main section in the middle focussing on a nominated objective (examples, strength, plyometric, agility, and muscular endurance). It is expected that the trainer monitors ALL of the factors here: Repetitions, Sets, Rest Periods, Technique, Safety. Make the session enjoyable and motivate your athlete. References Adams, G.
