part of the US Department of Commerce, which collects demographic information from individuals and households across America every 10 years as mandated by Congress for congressional apportionment and redistricting purposes. This means that their data is considered to be accurate and reliable since it is collected through a systematic process with strict controls in place to ensure accuracy and integrity (https://www2.census.gov/programs-surveys/decennial/about/#background). In addition to this, they have been collecting demographic information since 1790, so they have long established credibility when it comes to providing accurate data on a national level (https://www2.census.gov/programs-surveys/decennial/?p=about_the_decennial_census&r=1). Thus, I believe that their data is credible enough for me to use it as part of my analysis regarding the percentage share of each age group in the total population in 2020 here in America. From looking at the distribution graph, we can see that most Americans are aged between 25 and 64 with more than 50% falling within this range – meaning that people aged 18 or below make up about 20% of Americans whereas those 65 or over make up around 16%. Furthermore, there is an even spread among all age groups except those aged between 18 and 24 where its share drops slightly compared to other age groups; this could be due to many young adults leaving home to pursue higher education or start careers away from home thus decreasing their portion in terms of percentage out of all American citizens currently residing here in America today.(Caption: Share of U.S Population by Age Group) Additionally looking at the shape we can see that overall its distribution follows a normal curve pattern but closer inspection reveals multiple peaks throughout – these points could indicate another underlying cause such as migration trends among different ages within different regions which may further explain why certain age groups differ greatly from others depending on location - however further investigation would need to take place before any definitive conclusions can be drawn upon such matters here though.. Finally when observing center point we find its median average lies somewhere around mid 40’s while mean stands closer towards late 30’s respectively indicating general trend where majority tend lean towards younger side whilst older generations become less prominent factor amongst overall demographics picture contained herein presented henceforth forthwith!! In conclusion based on what these results show us it appears that despite being substantial proportion out there who fall into either both ends opposite spectrum vast majority do appear reside primarily within middle ground itself making them main driving force powering future developments upon whatever direction our nation takes next!
