US foreign policy towards Central America (1980-90) and the Crack Epidemic in the US Order Description Students will select a topic that must be scholarly researched (books, journals)—non-academic Internet sources are not permitted; it will impact your grade if you do so. The essay must present an original analysis of the topic. Citations should appear in the body of the text indicating the name of the author, year of publication, and page numbers of the citation. The final paper must be at least 7 pages in length, typed, 12 point font and double-spaced (narrative). An attached MLA bibliography is obligatory.
