Find and describe a video or acartoon (notself-produced!) exemplifying linguistic principles or concepts. TV commercials, video segments from TV shows, movies, and/or comic strips can all be good sources of such material. These materials will be similar to the videos I use in class. Additionally, a sample video and a sample description have been posted on Blackboard. This assignment consists of two parts: (1) a link to a video or a cartoon available online and (2) a written explanation as to what is being illustrated from a linguistic perspective. You will be judged on the accuracy of your linguistic description in addition to the quality of your material.
