Web3, in the context of this course, has been introduced as an umbrella term for three distinct technology areas with potential PR/branding potential:
artificial intelligence, blockchain, metaverse.
Select a recent Web3 case implemented by a company, organization, brand or individual— and will analyze it using the PESO model. How did the entity use
paid, earned, shared or owned communication strategies to activate the campaign? What did the entity do well in your opinion? What did not work well? Cite
examples and give recommendations. In selecting a Web3 case, “recent” means it should have occurred within the last 2 years.
Steps
Choose a recent Web3 case. Look for paid, earned, shared and owned media pieces.
