In this unit, we learned about different types of contemporary literature. In one way or another, each writer you read this week sought to explore some aspects of contemporary life in their writing.
In your response:
choose one of the writers and discuss how they employ postmodernist literary concepts (e.g., defamiliarization, structural puzzles, metatextuality, unreliable narrators, breaking of high/low culture, etc.) in their work.
Use specific examples from their writing to support your response. If you use secondary resources to help you understand any of these techniques, be sure to cite them.
