Write 1,250 – 1,500 literacy autobiography in which you do ONE of the following:

a. Describe and analyze a specific event that shaped your literacy development, examining the effects of the event on your development as a literate person. OR b. Describe and analyze a literacy practice you participate in (e.g., music, sports, dance, video games, religion, etc.) and how that practice makes you a part of a certain group or community. OR c. Describe your literacy history, i.e., the history of “what [you remember] about learning to read and write since childhood, particularly the occasions, people, materials, and motivations involved in the processes, as well as the uses and purposes of literacy at various stages of [your life].”
