Writing Assessment ________________________________________ Question: Commitment to public service involves rewards and sacrifice. Discuss the pros and cons of being highly committed to public service. ________________________________________ Instructions: This computerized assessment measures your writing skills by asking you to respond to one open-ended question. You will have 25 minutes to prepare your response to the question. Your essay will be scored based upon the following three areas: (1) grammar, mechanics, and word usage, (2) analysis and reasoning, and, (3) organization and structure. Note that you will not be scored on the opinions you express, but will be scored on how you express them.
