Describe your observations during the event

Describe your observations during the event. What did you experience, see, hear, etc. Especially note things that are new and different to you. It is important that you contextualize what you experience, meaning that you analyze the impact of venue, presentation, and audience of your experience and interpretation of the art that you are reflecting on. This can be done in the first 2 paragraphs of each assignment, where you are describing the details of the event, venue, audience and specifically what you experienced during the event. You may use the attached rubric to guide you as to my expectations in this area of contextualization.

Paragraph 3
Describe how this event affected or changed you. Is it something you would do again? Did it change any ideas you had about this type of art experience before you were exposed to this?

Central to this assignment is its connection to you personally as opposed to a critical review of the event. Additionally, you should strive wherever possible to describe artistic things using terminology appropriate to that discipline. Specifically, describe musical things in terms of the elements of music that we have been discussing since the first day of class: melody, rhythm, harmony, form, texture, timbre, dynamics, word/music relationships.

Hopefully this will help you get an idea of what this assignment is about. The reflection should be kept to about 1 typed, double-spaced page. You should then upload it here on Canvas.
